-800 grams of beef

-2 stalks of lemongrass, bruised
-3 cardamom pods
-1 cinnamon stick
-1 star anise
-3 pieces of lime leaves
-2 stalks of green onions, sliced
-3 tomatoes, diced
-250 ml of liquid su5u
-200 ml of thick coconut milk
-2000 ml of water
-To taste, salt, sugar, powdered broth and fried onions
How to Make Soto Betawi:
-Heat the water and then boil the cut meat until it boils, when it boils, immediately throw away the water, so that the remaining blood is also wasted.
-Then boil the meat again using new water, boil until the meat becomes semi-tender.
-Pure the spices using a blender then stir-fry until fragrant together with complementary seasonings such as cardamom, cinnamon, star anise, lemon grass and lime leaves. then add the stewed meat and cook until the meat is tender.
-Once soft, reduce heat and add liquid milk, coconut milk, sugar, salt and broth powder. Cook until boiling while continuing to stir.
